Welcome to Wayward Wellness. I'm James Houk. I've been a certified trainer specializing in behavior change and nutrition since 2019. I know that life can be unpredictable, which is why I've developed an approach that emphasizes adaptation to how often life can throw obstacles in the way. Together, we'll navigate the twists and turns of life, making adjustments along the way to ensure continued progress towards your goals. At Wayward Wellness, I provide a free wellness toolkit filled with resources to help you kickstart your healthy lifestyle. How it all began

My own journey started about 8 years ago, I was in poor health, at my heaviest weight, and feeling like I was stuck like that forever. I didn't give up on myself, though. After spending years exploring ways and routes to find change, eventually, it just clicked. I realized I had a passion for fitness and a strong desire to help others in their journey. This led me to pursue certifications in nutrition and personal training. For the past six years, I've been dedicated to sharing my techniques and knowledge, guiding individuals towards their fitness goals and overall well-being. I'm thrilled about the opportunity to expand my reach and support even more people on their fitness paths.
